[１]Club Service
- All members have a hand in the Management of the weekly regular meeting. Regular meetings are held in an orderly, structured professional style and attendance by overseas visitors is encouraged.
- In keeping with the club’s bilingual imprimatur, conversation is routinely conducted both in English and Japanese. We also focus on our sustained relationship with Rotarians of the Pacific Basin Group (PBG) to which Guam, Saipan, Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia belong at the District level. We participate with them in joint meetings throughout the years.
- We place importance in many friendship activities; for example, Spring cherry blossom viewing, small excursions, Christmas Party, and others are planned annually, many with family and Members’ friends.
- We enjoy a very rewarding relationship with Kanazawa Korinbo Rotary Club, a friendship club. A visit to Kanazawa for cherry-blossom viewing is planned early in 2018, including restaurant and tea house visits that promise us a closer experience with the cultures of Kanazawa.

[２] Vocational Service
- Presentation of the Four-way Test will be made both in English and Japanese for the improvement of consciousness.
- Utilizing the characteristics of the bilingual club, conversation is conducted both in English and Japanese.
- As the Sponsor Club for Interact club of Canadian International School (CIS), we support joint meetings in order to help students to expand international perspective by utilizing the spirit of Vocational Service
- We are supporting a program of Austrian University students who visit Japan for exchange between Austrian University students and Japanese students to help closer relationship with the sister club in Austria.
[３] Community Service
- 80~100 Rotarians annually participate in the event named “Run for the Cure ( RFC)”, to promote early detection and raising of awareness of breast cancer running or walking around the Imperial Palace.
- The “Run for the Cure” is designated as a Rotary Day Event. T-shirts with our Rotary club’s logo are distributed to all the participants to help publicize the activities of Rotary more widely to the public.
- Earlier, we served the community with a project for production of audio cassette tapes with readings of stories and articles which were presented to “Hibiki no Kai”, the Association of Blind Residents in Shibuya-ku.
[４] International Service
- We continue our Kenya Water Well Project which began in commemoration of Hiroo Rotary’s 10th anniversary in cooperation with the former Kenyan Ambassador to Japan who had served our club for many years and is now back in his homeland. The Project supports communities in Kenya suffering from a shortage of safe drinking water. It is operated in cooperation with Kenya’s Nairobi East Rotary Club.
- In addition to our monetary contribution, we are transferring the traditional Japanese Kazusa-bori well drilling method which is traditional Japanese digging technique to the local residents which enables their increasing self-sufficiency. In addition, members visit the site regularly to check the completion and utilization status.
- This has now advanced to a Joint committee with 10 Japanese Rotary Clubs within and out of District No. 2750. The Project is continuing and expanding its scale through fund-raising events such as Kenya Night, Charity Golf Competition accompanied by Grants from The Rotary Foundation and other organizations.

- Our members act as counselors and hosts for Rotary Foundation Scholarship students, Yoneyama Scholarship students and Youth Exchange students, also sponsoring RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) with the aim of nurturing young people.
- We support peace activities by welcoming student recipients of Rotary International’s Peace Fellowship and help them to participate in regular meetings and social gatherings.
- As the sponsor for Interact club at Canadian International School since 2009, we support service activities conducted by the children.
